Privacy Policy
SpinsLog is a listening log. This page explains what it collects and why. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and username, or your name and email if you sign in with Google.
- Your listening data: the albums in your library, listen counts and times, ratings, reviews, favourites and lists.
- Song Finder text: the lyrics or description you type or say, and the time you used it, to enforce the daily limit.
Who processes it
- Supabase stores accounts and your data and handles sign-in.
- Google handles "Continue with Google" if you choose it.
- Anthropic receives the text you submit to the Song Finder, and your most-played artists and genres for front-page recommendations, to produce suggestions.
- Apple (iTunes Search), MusicBrainz, the Cover Art Archive, Wikipedia and LRCLIB are asked for music information. They receive search terms, not your account. The search box sends what you type to Apple's public search service from your browser.
- Your browser may send microphone audio to its own speech service when you use the sing option.
Cookies and storage
SpinsLog stores a sign-in session in your browser so you stay logged in. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can remove albums and their listening history at any time from the app, and download your data from your profile page. You can ask for your account to be deleted entirely by emailing [email protected], which is also the address for any privacy question.
